The KCON Japan 2023 K-culture festival will take place this week from Friday to Sunday, offering visitors a chance to perform alongside girl groups STAYC and Le Sserafim.
The special dance-along opportunity will be given to K-pop fans who take part in an audition on Friday for STAYC and Le Sserafim on Saturday. Contenders will have to perform STAYC's "Poppy" (2022) and Le Sserafim's "Antifragile" (2022).
Those who pass get to perform alongside the stars on the same day.
STAYC and Le Sserafim are both popular in Japan, with STAYC having dropped its second Japanese single "Poppy" last November and Le Sserafim releasing the Japanese version of "Fearless" last December.
KCON Japan 2023 will be streamed live through Genie Music STAYG, the KCON official YouTube channel and MnetSmart+. It will take place in Tokyo's Makuhari Messe convention center.
The Los Angeles edition of KCON will be held from Aug. 18 to 20 at the Crypto.com Arena and LA Convention Center.
