Dreamcatcher's eighth EP "Apocalypse : From us" will be released on May 24 as the third and final album of the girl group's "Apocalypse" series that started last year.
"Apocalypse : From us" will embody the "Apocalypse" theme, which talks about humankind's negative impact on nature and the consequences that will follow if we do not act for the good of the earth soon. The first of the series, "Apocalypse : Save us" was released last year as the band's second full-length album in April, followed by "Apocalypse : Follow us" in October.
The girl group met with members of their fan club InSomnia on Friday.
The seven-member girl group debuted in 2017 with a dark-fantasy dystopia theme unique in K-pop, garnering a loyal fandom, especially outside of Korea. The girl group has been gaining popularity in Korea with its recent releases, scoring its first No. 1 on a music show with "Maison" last year on MBC M's "Show! Champion."
The group has seven members: JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami and Gahyeon. It has released songs like "Chase Me" (2017), "Full Moon" (2018), "Over the Sky" (2019), "Scream" (2020), "Odd Eye" (2021) and "Maison" (2022).
