The Seoul Design Foundation is holding a festival just in time for Children's Day at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, or DDP, in Jung District, central Seoul, from Thursday to Sunday. The event is called "Design Park" and includes a merry-go-round, food trucks, a parade featuring characters from the popular Cookie Run game franchise, a flea market and a pop-up store of the pink Bellygom teddy bear character. There are also hands-on programs like cooking and painting for children to enjoy. While most of the events are free, tickets to ride the merry-go-round are given when purchasing from a store inside the DDP or taking part in specific events. The merry-go-round runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. [SHIN MIN-HEE]
