Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung is the first on the list for a lunch meeting with young applicants in a project modeled after “Warren Buffett lunch” to connect Korean business leaders with younger generations, a South Korean business lobby said on Monday.

The Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) said it invited Chung, SoCar Chief Executive Officer Park Jae-uk and entertainer-cum-entrepreneur Noh Hong-chul to its first lunch meeting with Korean millennials and Generation Z under a project called “God-saeng One meal”.

God-saeng or God life is a young generation’s buzzword that refers to living a productive and organized lifestyle to achieve goals.

Chung is spearheading the transformation of the South Korean automotive group into a provider of future mobility solutions. In 2022, Newsweek recognized Chung as the top disruptive innovator in the global automotive industry.

SoCar CEO Park has been instrumental in the expansion of the country’s top car-sharing service provider. Noh is managing a range of creative restaurants, including a circus-themed bakery-cafe that has proven to be a hit with the MZ generation.

“It will be a meaningful time for the MZ generation to meet entrepreneurs who may be their role models, but whom they don’t usually get to meet,” said Lee Sang-yoon, head of CSR projects at the FKI. The three business leaders will speak to attendees on the theme of ‘God-saeng for Dreams and Perseverance’.

Those wishing to participate in the program should submit an application with their talent donation plan on the FKI website by May 14. The selection criteria include the creativity and feasibility of the talent donation plan. Participants will pay for their place by donating their talents instead of money.
