Hotel Shilla, Shinsegae DF and Hyundai Department Store have been selected to operate duty free shops in Incheon International Airport’s sections DF 3, 4 and 5, respectively, which sell fashion, accessories and boutiques.
Korea Customs Service announced the results for the final bidders for the sections on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Hotel Shilla and Shinsegae DF were selected to operate duty free shops in sections DF 1 and 2, respectively, which sell perfume, cosmetics, liquor and cigarettes.
Small-and-middle-sized operators Kyung Bok Kung Duty Free and City Plus will operate in DF 8 and DF 9, which does not restrict operators on what products they can sell.
Two other bidders — CDFG, China’s largest duty-free operator, and Lotte Hotel — failed to win a spot at the airport.
Designated operators attain licenses to operate at the airport for 10 years from July 1.
