Following the Bank of Korea’s decision to freeze the benchmark interest rate, consumers’ financial burden has decreased, but the possibility of further a hike in interest rates cannot be ruled out. And as the benchmark interest rate freezes for the second straight time, the Bank of Korea Gov. Rhee Chang-yong said the possibility of the terminal rate ascending to 3.75 percent needs to be left open, dismissing the peak rate theory.
“While the high interest rate trend is expected to continue, complexities in the government’s deregulation policy and the financial benefits of construction companies are in the spotlight,” an industry official said.
Currently, a complex located in Wonju, Gangwon, is drawing attention for providing various financial benefits for customers. The Hillstate Wonju Restige apartment, by Hyundai Engineering & Construction, will be available on a first-come-first-served basis in the area of Gwanseol-dong of Wonju.
Hillstate Wonju Restige is a complex that consists 13 buildings with eighteen stories above ground with two levels underground, and an overall total of 975 households, each with an area of 84 square meters (904 square feet) to 136 square meters. It is a complex that drives housing prices in Wonju and includes abundant living infrastructure and high-quality of commercial value as part of its brand premium.
The apartment complex can benefit from unregulated areas, making it easier for customers to raise funds with the expansion of loan guarantees through the non-regulatory policy announced by the government at the beginning of the year.
Hillstate Wonju Restige apartments provide financial incentives including a 5 percent flat-rate down payment and free interest for come payments, with the aim of easing the financial burden on consumers due to the recent increase in the base interest rate.
