Convicted Golden Dawn member Ilias Kasidiaris

epa10593007 Former Greek deputy Ilias Kasidiaris (L), who was sentenced by a first instance court to 13 years in jail for a member of the leading group of the neo-Nazi criminal organization Golden Dawn (Chryssi Avgi), at the Athens Appeals Court, where he is being tried at second degree, in Athens, 14 December 2022 (Issued 26 April 2023). Ilias Kasidiaris submitted a request to Greece's Supreme Court (Areios Pagos) to run as deputy of the party he founded and leads while serving his jail sentence, during the national elections that will be held on 21 May 2023.
