Girl group Fifty Fifty partnered with Warner Records for its global promotions, its agency Attrakt announced with the American-based global label on Wednesday.
“We are glad to have a partnership with Fifty Fifty to promote the global hit single 'Cupid' even further. I’m sure there will be more opportunities [under the partnership],” said Warner Records COO Tom Conson and CEO Aaron Bay-Schuck.
“We are honored to work with Warner Records […] We will try harder to present better music and content to our fans all around the world!” said Fifty Fifty.
“Cupid,” “Cupid (Twin. Ver.)” and the instrumental version of the track garnered over 300 million streams worldwide, and the song landed at No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart as of Tuesday, staying in the chart for five consecutive weeks.
Fifty Fifty — with members Keena, Saena, Sio and Aran — debuted on Nov. 23 last year with its first EP, “The Fifty.” The group’s latest release, “Cupid,” which dropped on Feb. 24, received an extremely positive reception overseas, while remaining relatively unknown in Korea.
