Juan Guaido forced to leave Venezuela

The departure of Venezuela?s best-known opposition leader Juan Guaido from Colombia to the United States caused controversy in three countries and provoked criticism of the Government of Gustavo Petro for the treatment given to the leader, who sought to meet with delegations participating in Bogota in the international conference on Venezuelan dialogue. The controversy broke out in Colombia, Venezuela and the United States after Guaido announced that he was removed from Bogota because the threats by the Government of Nicolas Maduro extended to the Andean country. The Colombian authorities assured that the process complied with all guarantees and that he was not expelled.
