Record low water levels on Lake Garda

Lake Garda, the largest Italian lake, has reached its lowest water level since 1953 and is now only 45.8 centimeters above the hydrometric zero, compared to an average of 109 centimeters in the last 70 years, according by the data collected by the satellite Sentinel-2. The data are collected by the European Commission and the European Space Agency within the Copernicus program of European Observatory on Drought.
