A concept photo released on the same day showed the members posing against a pink-themed Y2K background, giving a glimpse into the concept of the upcoming album.
(G)I-DLE debuted as a six-member girl group in May 2018. Following school bullying allegations against its member Soojin, CUBE made the decision to terminate its exclusive contract with her and continue (G)I-DLE’s activities as a group of five.
Currently consisting of Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua, the girl group is known for its hits — mostly composed and produced by the leader Soyeon — “Latata” (2019), “Lion” (2020), “DUMDi DUMDi” (2020), “Tomboy” (2022) and “Nxde” (2022).
