Studio Dragon, the Korean drama production company under CJ ENM, has expanded its content collaboration with Walt Disney Company Korea, the company announced Monday.
Studio Dragon is known for producing mega-hit dramas such as “Crash Landing on You” (2019), “Kingdom: Ashin of the North” (2021), “Little Women” (2022) and more. The production company has previously worked with Netflix to distribute works.
Last year, Studio Dragon expanded its global partnership projects by supplying two original works, “Shadow Detective” (2022) and “Connect” (2022), to Disney+.
Studio Dragon plans to introduce a number of new and old works to be released through Disney+ within the year, starting with “Pandora: Beneath the Paradise” (2023) and “Family: The Unbreakable Bond” (2023).
“Studio Dragon is the only domestic studio that has signed volume deals with a number of major global streaming services, including Disney+,” said a spokesperson from the company. “We will continue the healthy growth of our company through the production of high-quality content and diversification of distribution of works.”
