Blackpink received yet another Guinness World Record for having the most streamed music channel on YouTube, the girl group’s agency YG Entertainment announced Tuesday.
Blackpink’s YouTube channel had an accumulative 30.1 billion views as of April 10, almost six years and nine months after the channel was first created, making the girl group’s YouTube channel the most streamed music channel, surpassing Justin Bieber.
This is the 21st time for Blackpink to break a Guinness World Record, after being the first K-pop girl group to reach No. 1 on the U.K. albums chart and the first K-pop girl group to reach No. 1 on the U.S. albums chart, the artist with the most subscribers on YouTube and more.
The girl group currently has 86 million users subscribed to their YouTube channel.
As of Tuesday, the channel garnered 3.03 billion total streams with 41 videos that attracted more than 100 million views.
Blackpink is currently on its second world tour, "Blackpink World Tour [Born Pink].” The girl group kicked off the tour at the KSPO Dome in southern Seoul in October last year and stopped at 14 cities, hosting 24 total performances at European and North American destinations. This year, the group will continue its performances in Mexico, Australia and multiple Asian countries, including an encore performance at France’s largest stadium, Stade de France in July. Blackpink recently performed at the Coachella Music Festival on April 16, becoming the first K-pop artist to headline the festival.
