Ananti Namhae picked as best golf course in Korea

Ananti Namhae, a sea-side golf course in Namhae, South Gyeongsang Province, has been picked as the best golf course in South Korea across all categories including facilities, satisfaction to cost, and customer service.

The result is from an online survey conducted by Maeil Business Newspaper and market research firm Hankook Research of 2,046 golfers on their satisfaction of 390 golf courses with more than 18 holes across the country.

Ananti Namhae topped all categories, followed by Seolhaewon in Yangyang, Gangwon Province, Fourizon in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province; South Cape Owner’s Club in Namhae, South Gyeongsang Province; and Pinx Golf Club in Seogwipo, Jeju Island.

Ananti Namhae also topped the list of public golf courses, followed by Seolhaewon, South Cape Owner’s Club, Lotte Skyhill Country Club in Seogwipo, and Pine Beach Golf Links in Haenam, South Jeolla Province.

Fourizon was picked as the best membership golf course, ranking first in safety management and second in overall golf course satisfaction and facility. It was followed by Pinx Golf Club in Seogwipo; Trinity Club in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province, Nine Bridges in Jeju City, and Blue One The Honors Country Club in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province.

The evaluation of the golf courses is the first of its kind by golfers in Korea. It comes at a time when golf courses are seeing increases in revenue with the local golf population soaring during the pandemic. Some, however, also face complaints about their relatively poor course management and services.
