Following a break over the Easter holidays some 2,500 soldiers from units of the Land Forces, the Navy, Territorial Defense Forces and allied forces that are part of the NATO Battalion Battle Group and the Engineering Forces, continued to take part in the military exercise aimed at responding to threats of military and non-military nature from the sea, using the new waterway through the Vistula Spit, in the border area on the Vistula Lagoon, according to the Polish Armed Forces.
