Italian coast guard rescues 600 migrants in Maltese waters

Italian Coast Guard vessel Peluso, carrying 201 of the approximately 600 migrants rescued a day earlier by the Coast Guard in Maltese search and rescue (SAR) waters some 170 miles south of the coast of Sicily, arrives in the port of Catania, Sicily Island, southern Italy, 17 April 2023.
