YG Entertainment has denied the dating rumors surrounding Rosé of Blackpink and actor Gang Dong-won in a statement on Monday.
"We previously said that we are unable to check our artists' private matters, especially regarding Rosé, but we are making a statement again as rumors have continued to recklessly swirl," the agency said. "Rosé's dating rumor that has been reported today is not true."
A plethora of posts on online community sites have been claiming that Rosé and Gang are dating, based on the pair having been seen wearing matching accessories or outfits and that they were seen together at numerous events.
YG Entertainment initially refused to comment on the issue, and as the agency is notoriously known for refusing to confirm its artists' dating rumors, fans had interpreted YG's evasive speech as an indirect way of confirming the relationship.
