The music video for Blackpink’s “How You Like That” surpassed 1.2 billion views on YouTube, making it the sixth music video by the girl group to have reached the milestone.

“How You Like That,” Blackpink’s first track pre-released for its first full-length album “The Album” (2020), garnered 1.2 billion views as of Tuesday, two years and nine months after the release of the music video on June 26, 2022.

“How You Like That” received the Song of the Summer award at the MTV Video Music Awards 2020 and was named YouTube’s Global Top Summer Song in the same year.

Out of the 41 Blackpink videos on YouTube that garnered over 100 million views, six of them reached 1.2 billion views: “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” (2018) garnered 2 billion views; “Kill This Love” (2019) at 1.7 billion views; “Boombayah” (2017) at 1.5 billion views; “As If It’s Your Last” (2017) at 1.2 billion views; and the "How You Like That” performance video which surpassed 1.2 billion views prior to the music video.

Subscribers to the girl group’s YouTube channel are also increasing amid the release of member Jisoo’s first solo album “Me” (2023). The channel has 30 billion total views and 864 million subscribers as of April.

Jisoo’s first solo album “Me” was released on March 31, making her the final Blackpink member to release a solo album.

The girl group is currently on its second world tour, "Blackpink World Tour [Born Pink].” The tour kicked off at the KSPO Dome on Oct. 15 and 16 last year, and Blackpink went on to visit 14 cities and hold 24 performances in European and North American destinations. This year, the group will continue its performances in Mexico, Australia and multiple Asian countries.
