Singer and actor Lee Seung-gi and actor Lee Da-in held their wedding ceremony on Friday.
Held at Grand InterContinental Hotel Seoul Parnas in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, the ceremony was hosted by actor Son Ji-chang, a close acquaintance of Kyeon Mi-ri, bride Lee’s mother, according to local media reports.
It has also been reported that entertainers Yu Jae-seok and Lee Soo-geun also took part in the wedding ceremony, with singer Lee Juck performing.
Lee Seung-gi announced that he would tie the knot with actor Lee Da-in back on Feb. 7 through a handwritten letter.
"I want to tell you the most important decision of my life," he wrote. "I decided to spend the rest of my life with Lee Da-in, whom I love, as a married couple, not just as lovers. I proposed and she said yes. Now that I have someone to be responsible for, for the rest of my life, I wanted to tell you this happy news myself,” the singer said in the handwritten letter.
The two have been in a relationship for three years. Their relationship was made public in 2021 after local entertainment news outlet Dispatch broke the news.
