Nell will hold “Nell’s Season 2023 ‘Dance in the Rain’” concerts on May 5 and 6, the veteran rock band announced Thursday.
The concert, to be held at the Olympic Hall in Songpa District, southern Seoul, will be the band’s first concert in 2023.
“'Dance in the Rain' will help the fans wipe away the worries and anxieties that piled up in the winter, like a spring rain,” the press release said.
“Nell’s Season,” which first began in 2014 with “Nell’s Season – Newton’s Apple,” is a series of concerts held by the rock band to celebrate the start of a season. The upcoming concert, “Dance in the Rain,” will be themed around the spring rain.
Ticket sales for the concert will open at 6 p.m. on April 6, on Interpark Ticket, with ticket prices ranging from 121,000 won ($92) to 143,000 won.
The veteran rock band, first formed in 1999 with four members — vocalist Kim Jong-wan, guitarist Lee Jae-kyung, bassist Lee Jung-hoon and drummer Jung Jae-won — is one of the most well renowned rock bands in Korea, known for their colorful genres of music, spanning from alternative rock and progressive rock to psychedelic rock and ballad rock.
The band announced on March 29 that its drummer, Jung Jae-won, would cease its activities due to personal reasons.
