Hori7on dropped its digital single “Salamat” on Wednesday, the boy band’s first track dedicated to its fans.
“Salamat,” meaning thank you in Filipino, features messages of gratitude from the band to the fans who supported the members starting from the audition program “Dream Maker” back in February.
Hori7on was formed through audition program "Dream Maker," launched together by Korean agency MLD Entertainment and Filipino media company ABS-CBN. The program is described as a “collaboration between K-pop and P-pop [Pinoy pop].” Both Korean and Filipino fans were able to vote throughout the program.
The boy band will hold its first fan meet-and-greet in the Philippines on April 22. MLD Entertainment, the boy band's agency, announced that the boy band will then move to Korea and prepare for its Korean debut, planned for mid-June.
Hori7on refers to the seven members who started their journey at the same line, aiming for a united goal.
