BTS's Jimin sells million copies of solo album on first day

Jimin of K-pop megaband BTS sold over a million copies of his first solo album "Face" on the day of release Friday, becoming the first solo singer to do so in K-pop.
"Face" sold 1,021,532 copies on Friday, according to local market tracker Hanteo Chart, the first album from a solo K-pop singer to sell over a million copies of the day of release.
The album topped the iTunes Top Album chart in 63 regions around the world, while its lead "Like Crazy" was the No. 1 song on iTunes' Top Song chart in 111 regions around the world on Saturday.
"Face" also topped Japanese music chart Oricon's Daily Album Ranking on Friday, while "Like Crazy" became No. 1 on the Daily Digital Single Ranking.
"Like Crazy (English Version)" was streamed over 6.6 million times on the day of its release on Spotify, becoming the No. 2 song on the Daily Top Song Global chart.
