Girl group Nmixx will hold its first mini tour “Nice to Mixx You” in 13 cities around the world, announced its agency JYP Entertainment on Friday.
Dubbed as the girl group’s “first global showcase tour,” Nmixx will be introducing its upcoming EP “expérgo” to eight U.S. cities — Seattle on May 2, San Jose on May 4, Los Angeles on May 5, Dallas on May 8, Houston on May 9. Atlanta on May 12 and Washington D.C. on May 14— and five Asian cities: Bangkok on June 4; Jakarta on June 9, Taiwan on June 19; Singapore on June 23 and Manila on June 30.
“expérgo,” set for release on March 20, will be the girl group’s first EP since its debut in February 2022.
“The lead track 'Love Me Like This' is a song arranged by the renowned producing team LDN Noise,” said the press release.
Nmixx's previous releases “Ad Mare” (2022) and “Entwurf” (2022) received mixed reviews due to their eccentric lyrics and song structures. However, both saw commercial success, with “Ad Mare” selling over 220,000 copies in the first week after its release, a record for a debuting K-pop girl group at the time.
Nmixx debuted in February last year as a seven-member girl group with Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jinni, Jiwoo and Kyujin. The agency announced the departure of one member, Jinni, in December 2022 due to “personal reasons.”
