20th anniversary of the Iraq invasion

A US-led coalition launched a military invasion of Iraq on 19 March 2003 following former President George W. Bush and his administration's claims that Iraq had stockpiled weapons of mass destruction. The invasion resulted in a change of political regime and years of political and social instability and crisis. The US withdrew its troops officially from Iraq in summer 2010.
