Jimin of boy band BTS will release his first solo album “Face” on March 24, his agency BigHit Music announced Wednesday.
Jimin will be the fourth member of the boy band to release a solo album, following J-Hope, Jin and RM.
Further details, including the tracklist and lead track, have not been announced yet.
“'Face’ will be an album which talks about the story of Jimin, who fully faces himself and prepares for a new beginning as Jimin the artist,” said the agency.
Jimin has released multiple solo tracks prior to the solo album, including “Lie,” his 2016 solo song included in one of the boy band’s albums, “Wings,” “Serendipity” in the album “Love Yourself: Her” (2017), “With you,” a soundtrack for the tvN drama “Our Blues” (2022) and most recently “Vibe” (2023), Taeyang’s single featuring Jimin.
