Boy band AB6IX’s Park Woo jin is set to release a solo EP titled “oWn” on Feb. 27, his agency BrandNew Music said Monday.
Park is the first member of the quartet to make a solo debut.
“oWn” is a stylized version of the word “own.”
Park has been active in producing songs for the band, such as the lead track “Stay Young” for the EP “Salute: A New Hope.” He also participated in making the choreography for the song.
Park debuted in August 2017 as a member of boy band Wanna One after ranking third on Season 2 of Mnet’s hit survival series “Produce 101” (2017). After the band’s contract ended, he joined AB6IX.
AB6IX recently wrapped up its fan meet-and-greet tour “AB_New Area” in Japan, the United States, Thailand and Taiwan.
