Shin Ji-min, a former member of girl group AOA, will release her first solo EP on Feb. 22.
Her agency Alo Malo Entertainment announced the news on Wednesday.
“Boxes” will be her first music since she left AOA in July 2020. She made her return to television last year, participating in JTBC’s survival show “Second World” (2022).
Shin left the group in 2020 after allegations of bullying by former member Mina.
She signed with Alo Malo Entertainment, a new agency, in 2022.
AOA debuted in 2012 with eight members, but now only consists of two members, Hye Jeong and Chan Mi.
Shin was the semi-finalist in the first season of Mnet's rapper survival program "Unpretty Rapstar" in 2015.
