US investment group Hindenburg Research accuses Adani group of stock manipulation

In a report published on 24 January, the US-based forensic financial research company Hindenburg Research accused Indian conglomerate Adani Group of stock market manipulation and fraud, which the Adani Group denies. Proceedings at both houses of India's parliament were adjourned on 03 February for the second day as opposition leaders demanded an investigation by a Joint Parliamentary Committee over the allegations against Adani Group.
