43th International Hot Air Balloon Week in Chateau-d'Oex

Postponed twice because of the pandemic, the 'International Hot Air Balloon Festival of Chateau-d'Oex' (VD) returns this year for a 43rd edition. A total of 60 balloons from 15 countries will be taking part in the event between 21 and 29January in the Swiss mountain resort which is famous for ideal ballooning conditions due to an exceptional microclimate.
