Firefighters are currently trying to control a fire that broke out in Zone 4 of Guryong Village in Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 6:27 a.m. January 20. Fire authorities issued a level-1 response at 6:39 a.m. Friday, raised it to level-2 at 7:26 a.m., and adjusted it back to level-1 at 9:16 a.m.

The National Fire Agency announced that they have yet to identify the cause of the fire, which forced over five hundred residents in zones 4-6 of Guryong Village (478 Yangje-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul) to evacuate.
