Korea reported 27,408 new Covid-19 cases Friday, down 12,000 from the same day the previous week, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
Friday marks the third anniversary of the first Covid-19 report in Korea.
The number of critically ill patients stood at 453 and 30 deaths were reported.
The cumulative number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Korea is 29,955,366.
