An Inter Milan scout reportedly visited a Greek Super League game between Olympiacos and Aris at Karaiskakis football stadium in Piraeus, Greece on Sunday to watch Koraen midfielder Hwang In-beom in action.
According to Greek sports news organization Sports DNA on Monday, the Inter scout visited the game with an eye to signing 26-year-old Hwang, who joined Olympiacos last summer.
Hwang has been performing well in the Super League Greece with one goal and four assists in 16 matches so far this season. He also played full-time against Aris last Sunday and helped his team win 1-0 with a number of accurate passes.
Olympiacos, however, are not interested in selling Hwang at the moment, potentially expecting his worth to increase by the end of the season.
If Hwang joins Inter Milan, he may well have the chance of playing against his Taeguk Wariors teammate Kim Min-jae who currently plays for league leaders Napoli, in the first ever Korean derby in the Serie A.
