Asiana Airlines restored all seven of its refurbished cargo aircraft back to passenger aircraft.
The airline announced on Monday that it completed reinstalling 260 economy seats in the last A330 aircraft that was refurbished into a cargo plane.
Asiana Airlines refurbished seven passenger aircraft, four A350s and three A330s, into cargo aircraft to respond to increasing cargo demand due to the lingering Covid-19 pandemic.
Each refurbished aircraft flew more then 500 cargo flights, securing 37 million won ($30,000) in revenue transporting 70,000 tons of cargo.
"We conducted safety checks on the reinstalled seats for the safety and comfort of the passengers, " said a spokesperson for Asiana Airlines.
"This aircraft will be flying Southeast Asia-Korea and Japan-Korea flights after further maintenance."
