YG Entertainment unveiled the second member of its upcoming girl group BabyMonster.
Fifteen-year-old Ahyeon was revealed through a performance video uploaded on the agency's official YouTube channel, where the trainee showed off her dance skills while singing the jazzy pop song "Sway With Me" (2020) by Saweetie & GALXARA.
BabyMonster will be the first new girl group from YG in seven years since Blackpink made its debut in 2016. The group is sticking to a strictly mysterious concept, with no details about the music or final number of members being revealed.
"BabyMonster will be an international group with not only Korean members but also non-Korean members, mostly teenagers," the agency said.
