YG Entertainment revealed the first member of its upcoming girl group BabyMonster, Haram, in a live performance video uploaded Thursday morning.
In the black-and-white video, the 15-year-old member covers the 2004 hit song "Let Me Love You" by Mario, accompanied by a piano, flaunting her vocal skills.
Haram comes as the first member of the new girl group that YG Entertainment has been teasing since last December. The company said it will follow with information of six other trainees, confirming that BabyMonster will be a seven-member band.
BabyMonster comes as YG Entertainment’s first new girl group in seven years since Blackpink debuted in 2016.
