Boy band WayV to embark on global fan meet tour

Boy band WayV will embark on a global fan meet tour, starting with Seoul, according to its agency Label V on Tuesday.
The first event of “2023 WayV Fanmeeting Tour [Phantom]” will take place on Feb. 11 on 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Kyung Hee University's Grand Peace Palace in eastern Seoul. WayV will go on to meet fans in cities around the world. The tour stops will be announced at a later date.
Five of the seven members — Kun, Ten, XiaoJun, Hendery, and YangYang — will attend the two Seoul events, which will include talk and game sessions with fans.
Ticket reservations for the Seoul sessions open on Jan. 17 at 8 p.m. for WayV’s official fan club members, and on Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. for the general public.
The 8 p.m. session will also be livestreamed on Beyond Live.
WayV, debuted in January 2019 and is a China-based subunit of boy band NCT. It consists of seven members: Kun, Ten, WinWin, Lucas, XiaoJun, Hendery, and YangYang.
The boy band recently dropped its fourth EP “Phantom” on Dec. 28, which topped China’s music streaming chart QQ Music and the Worldwide iTunes Albums chart in 24 regions.
