K-pop girl group Twice will release a new English track titled "Moonlight Sunrise" on Jan. 20, the group's agency JYP Entertainment said Wednesday.
The new song will be included on the group's 12th EP set for release in March, according to the agency. Twice released its first English track "The Feels" in 2021.
The nine-member band was one of the most-streamed K-pop artists in 2022 on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, along with BTS, Blackpink, Stray Kids and Seventeen, according to the list announced by the service last month.
The upcoming EP will mark the first release from the entire group since "Between 1&2," Twice's 11th EP, on Aug. 26. It debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with about 100,000 equivalent album units earned.
The band debuted with “Like Ooh-Ahh” from the six-track EP “The Story Begins,” and went on to release “Cheer Up” (2016), “TT” (2016), “What is Love?” (2018), “Yes or Yes” (2018) and “Feel Special” (2019). They all topped music charts in and outside of Korea immediately after their release.
