Dahyun of girl group Twice was confirmed to have contracted Covid-19 Tuesday, according to the group’s agency JYP Entertainment.
JYP Entertainment announced the news on its official website, saying that Dahyun tested positive in a rapid antigen test on the same day and is currently in quarantine and recuperating.
“We will do our best to aid in Dahyun’s speedy recovery and consider the artist’s health as our top priority,” said the agency in the release online.
Twice debuted in 2015 with the EP “The Story Begins” with the lead song “Like Ooh-Ahh.” The group became widely popular with the song “Cheer Up” (2016) and has since released hits like “TT” (2016), “Feel Special” (2019) and “Alcohol-Free” (2021). The group's members are Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.
