New Year and Christmas decorations in Moscow

Russians are preparing to celebrate New Year's Eve on 31 December and Christmas, observed on 07 January, according to the Russian Orthodox Julian calendar. This year, the format of the New Year holidays in the capital was chosen by Muscovites themselves. In the new voting of the Active Citizen project, residents of the capital city could decide how the New Year holidays will be held in Moscow this year.
