The Incheon Heungkuk Life Pink Spiders recruited setter Lee Won-jung through a trade with the GS Caltex Seoul Kixx on Tuesday.
The Pink Spiders announced Tuesday the club had traded its first round nomination at the 2023-34 V League Rookie Draft to the Kixx in exchange for Lee.
Lee was the second pick in the first round of the 2018-18 Rookie Draft, joining Gimcheon Korea Expressway Corporation Hi-Pass. She played for the North Gyeongsang club until 2020, when she was traded to the Kixx.
At 1.76 meters tall, Lee has proven an efficient blocker with a solid game management skills, although her season was cut short last year due to a wrist injury. Playing alongside national team veteran setter An Hye-jin with the Kixx, Lee received less playing time as she might have done at another team.
