Samsung to launch big sale promotion for home electronics in Jan.

Samsung Electronics will launch a mega sale event for home appliances at home early next year after demand for white goods and TVs has plunged on inflation-led interest rate hikes, leading its inventories to pile up.

The company said on Monday that it will launch ‘Samsung Electronics Sale Festa’ at both online and offline stores from Jan. 1 to Feb. 12 next year.

This event, which marks its 3rd anniversary, is expected to show unprecedented discounts and offers, as it is designed to reduce inventory costs in the sector of home appliances such as TVs, washing machines, and refrigerators.

Samsung Electronics said it decided to expand its list of target devices with a price tag in the 900,000 won ($710) range. The list includes limited edition products such as QLED TV (138 cm, 55-inch), Bespoke Grande AI washing machine (24 kg) and dryer (20 kg), and French-door refrigerator.

In addition, Samsung Electronics will sell a total of 150 models at discount prices. Various Bespoke appliances such as refrigerators, windless air conditioners, air dressers, and dishwashers, TVs such as Neo QLED and The Serif, as well as smart monitors, mobile devices such as Galaxy Z Fold and Flip, and audio devices with Harman Kardon and JBL brands.
