Korea reported 87,596 new Covid-19 cases Tuesday, slightly down from the 88,172 new cases recorded the same day last week, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
The number of critically ill patients stood at 592 and 50 deaths were reported.
The cumulative number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Korea is 28,772,196.
