The view of the newly-opened Museum Hanmi in Samcheong-dong, central Seoul. The Museum of Photography, Seoul (MoPS), Korea’s first art museum specializing in photography that opened in 2003 in southeastern Seoul, relocated to new buildings designed by architect Min Hyun-sik in Samcheong-dong and opened its doors to the public under the new name Museum Hanmi last Wednesday. As the inaugural exhibition, the museum is holding a show that looks back on the history of Korean photography between 1929 and 1982 with more than 200 pieces of photography until April 16.
