Czech Army receives first Leopard tank from Germany

The Czech Republic is to receive a total of 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks and a Bueffel armored recovery vehicle as a gift from Germany under the German government's 'Ringtausch' programme in return for deliveries of older tanks from Czech army depots to Ukraine. In addition to the tanks, the delivery will include an initial package of spare parts, ammunition and a three-year service support from the supplier, which includes training of Czech soldiers.
