LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo has doubled down on customer value in his New Year’s message, suggesting that all LG members become main players of the group to wow consumers.

In a New Year’s video message delivered to LG employees on Tuesday, Koo said that LG can become an enduring company loved by customers when LG staff committed to realizing customer value continue to nurture the dream of impressing customers.

Since taking office as chairman in 2018, Koo has continuously evolved his New Year’s message for customer value management. He also changed the group’s tradition of gathering employees together at a hall to deliver the message usually on the first day of the New Year by sending out video messages via email instead.

He stressed the importance of customer value to be created by all LG staff in his 2023 message following his focus on ‘valuable customer experience’ during the 2022 New Year’s message.

He called for LG employees to seek higher customer value, suggesting that they think about who their customers are and what value they want to deliver to their customers.

He also said that all those who create customer satisfaction in the name of LG are his customers and it is the customer value he is creating to help every customer value creator realize their dream of customer satisfaction.
