Starbucks Korea opens new store in Seoul to revive traditional marketplace

Starbucks Korea will open its fifth community store, “Kyungdong 1960,” aiming to revitalize and restore the long-standing heritage of the Kyundong Market in the northwestern part of Seoul. The coffeehouse chain hopes that the new store, remodeled using the infrastructure of the old Kyungdong Theater, will host community gatherings and support various activities, contributing to revitalize the traditional marketplace.
