Taeyang of boy band Big Bang is collaborating with BTS's Jimin on an upcoming solo song, according to local news outlets Friday.
The Korea JoongAng Daily the same day confirmed the news with a K-pop industry insider who asked to remain anonymous.
Last week, local media reported that Taeyang is currently working on a solo album, set to be released in January. At the time, YG Entertainment said that “nothing is confirmed regarding Taeyang’s comeback.”
Taeyang married actor Min Hyo-rin in 2018 and welcomed their first child, a son, late last year. The singer has released a string of hit solo songs over the years, including “Only Look at Me” (2008) and “Eyes, Nose, Lips” (2014).
His last solo release was his third full-length album “White Night” in 2017.
Big Bang as a group last dropped the single “Still Life” earlier this year.
