Big Bang's T.O.P to go on space trip with Yusaku Maezawa, dearMoon crew

K-pop boy band Big Bang’s T.O.P announced Friday that he will be going on a space trip with a crew gathered by Yusaku Maezawa, a Japanese billionaire entrepreneur.
T.O.P posted a picture to Instagram on Friday with the English caption “Hello, We are the dearMoon crews!” and several hashtags alluding to space travel. T.O.P confirmed that he will participate in a tourist project to the moon called dearMoon, which will open next year by SpaceX.
The project aims for the first civilian flight to the moon, with eight crew members including T.O.P.
It is also part of an art project planned by Japanese billionaire entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa, founder of Japan’s largest online shopping mall specializing in clothing and the founder of e-commerce company Start Today.
The trip will comprise of seven days of travel around the moon’s orbit on a spacecraft developed by SpaceX.
Other members of the crew include Steve Aoki, a Japanese-American musician and DJ who has collaborated with BTS, and Indian actor Dev Joshi. Olympic snowboarder Kaitlyn Farrington and Japanese dancer Miyu.
