Korea’s household spending to contract by 2.4% next year

Koreans are expected to reduce their household spending by an average of 2.4 percent next year due to higher consumer prices and economic stagnation, according to a recent survey of 1,000 adults by the Federation of Korean Industries. More than 56 percent of the respondents said that they will cut their spending next year.
