Great Union Day celebrations in Bucharest

Romania is celebrating Great Union Day which commemorates the unification of the three historical provinces of Transylvania, Basarabia and Bucovina with Romania in 1918. More than 1,500 soldiers and specialists, as well as approximately 120 technical means from Romania participated in the military parade in the Arcului de Triumf Square. Also, some 150 NATO soldiers from Belgium, France, Portugal, the US and the Netherlands also marched at the parade representing allied countries contributing to NATO structures on the territory of Romania.
